Roopa Belur Neuro Diversity Coaching Consulting & Training

Hi, I'm Roopa Belur, the founder of Belur Neurodivergent Consulting and Coaching.

For over a decade, I've worked alongside neurodivergent individuals, their families, and the professionals who support them. My path has taken me from research and diagnostic work to clinical leadership to direct, one-on-one support — and every step has deepened my belief that autism and ADHD aren't deficits to be fixed, but different ways of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world.

I hold a Master of Science in Psychology, along with post-graduate coursework in developmental counselling and professional ethics. Earlier in my career, I worked as a psychometrist and research coordinator at an autism research center, administering standardized assessments and coordinating studies focused on the medical and developmental profiles of autistic children and adolescents. I later spent years as a therapist, using neuro-affirmative approaches to support children, adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring concerns and as a Clinical Director, where I led multidisciplinary teams, trained staff in the TEACCH framework, and managed complex cases including FASD, ASD, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, ADHD, OCD, Chromosomal disorders, Cerebral Palsy, and Brain Injuries.

Today, I bring that same depth of experience to coaching and consulting. I work with individuals and families to build practical strategies for communication, emotional regulation, relationships, and daily life — and with organizations and schools to design more inclusive, neuro-affirming environments. I've delivered training and presentations for teachers, community organizations, and disability service providers, and I remain an active voice in neurodiversity advocacy, both in the community and online.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: you don't need to be "fixed," you need to be understood. Whatever brings us together, whether it's building self-advocacy skills, making sense of a new diagnosis, finding routines that work for you, or restructuring a classroom or workplace to be more inclusive, I want it to feel like a partnership, not a program. My hope is that by the time we're done working together, you feel more confident, more supported, and more like yourself. That goes for the individuals I coach directly and the families, educators, and organizations I consult with, too.

Whether you're a parent trying to better understand your child, a teen or adult navigating your own diagnosis, or an educator or organization looking to build more inclusive spaces, I tailor my support to meet you where you are. No matter your age or stage, let's connect and figure out what support looks like for you.

A note on my services: I am not a licensed therapist or psychologist in the state of Texas. My coaching and consulting services are educational and skills-based in nature and are not a substitute for licensed mental health treatment or clinical diagnosis.
